Coming from Firewall No Root

NetCage can’t be installed today. It has no store listing and no public download, so this page ends without an install step. It covers how the two apps differ and which pages here to read first.

How does Firewall No Root differ from NetCage?

Both give you a per-app switch on Wi-Fi and cellular without root. Firewall No Root adds host and domain rules, filter lists and a DNS changer. NetCage has none of those. What it has instead is profiles, schedules with day passes, and shareable Cage Packs.

Android allows one VPN at a time. If Firewall No Root holds that slot on your phone, NetCage can’t hold it as well.

Choose Firewall No Root if you want host and domain rules, filter lists and a DNS changer beside the per-app switch, and it is on Google Play today.

Choose NetCage if you want the switch and nothing else to manage: no lists to update, no DNS to change, and shareable Cage Packs when a friend wants your setup.

What should I read first?

NetCage imports nothing from Firewall No Root, so there’s no settings file to bring across. You’d choose your apps again.
